Summer Comedy Camp
Once again, this summer ComedyWorx will be running an improv camp for children aged 10-16. ComedyWorx will offer one week sessions that meet on Monday-Friday for a half-day. Each session concludes with a show performed by the campers that can be attended by family and friends. This year we have added one session in Durham at the Common Ground Theater.
These sessions will use improv games and techniques to teach how to be a better listener and how to accept and respect the ideas of others.
The Kids Learn Important Life Skills
The program encourages creativity, problem solving, reasoning, verbal comprehension and higher level thinking. Benefits include acting skills, better public speaking, an improvement in self confidence and learning how to support a team.
Camp Information for 2008
The classes are $150 for a one week session which meets for a half-day.
