"Reports from the Gaming News Industry are saying that details about the Upcoming Guitar Hero 4 are on their way via a preview in the latest issue of Game Informer. Lets do a Rundown of the new info for Guitar Hero 4.

Multiple Instruments!

Guitar Hero 4 is taking an obvious step it needs to take at this point in the series by adding more instruments to the game in order to compete with Rock Band. It is said that the game will feature The Guitar (of course), Bass guitar, Drums, and Microphone. I mean we all knew it had to happen and was going to, but I am definitely excited to play Guitar Hero with multiple instruments. Everyone knows how incredibly fun the drums are on Rock band.

There is also information about bands that will be featured in the new game and although there has only been a couple of bands mentioned that will be in the game, the list is looking damn good.

Create A Song Feature!

Apparently you will now be able to create your own songs to play!!!!! I guess they also saw all the modding and hacking that has been going on with the previous Guitar Hero Games and they decided to make it a feature. I think you can only modify the songs that are already on the game unfortunately. It would be sweet to be able to do your own songs somehow. The only thing that you can�t mess with is the songs vocals due to possible storage and copyright issues. And once you are all done making your new song all sweet, you will then be able to upload your songs so that other Guitar Hero Players can download and play your masterpieces.

Guitar Hero 4 will be released for PS3. XBOX 360, Wii, and PS2 and is due to be released Fall 2008."

-- "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" stars Nia Vardalos and John Corbett are reuniting for the romantic comedy "I Hate Valentine's Day" reports Variety.
"Valentine's Day" revolves around a romantic, carefree florist who charms a commitment-phobic restaurant owner into trying her theory of "relationship-less" dating.
Vardalos wrote and will helm in her feature directorial debut on the project which begins shooting on June 23rd.
-- Mark Rolston, Carlo Rota, Julie Benz, Greg Bryk, Laura Gordon and Meagan Good have joined the cast of "Saw V".
Lionsgate reveals that in the fifth installment, Hoffman (Costas Mandylor) is seemingly the last person alive to carry on the Jigsaw (Tobin Bell) legacy.
But when his secret is threatened, Hoffman must go on the hunt to eliminate all loose ends. Scott Petterson and Betsy Russell reprise their roles as Agent Straum & Jill respectively.
David Hackl is directing the horror-thriller from a script by Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan. An October 24th release is planned.
-- Paramount Vantage and Overture Films will co-finance and distribute Oscar winner Michael Moore's next film, a follow-up to his groundbreaking 2004 documentary "Fahrenheit 9/11".
Paramount Vantage will handle international distribution in all media and Overture will handle domestic distribution in all media. Paramount Vantage will be launching the film into the international marketplace this week in Cannes with the film scheduled for release in 2009.
As with all of Moore's projects, the subject matter of the new film is being kept under wraps by all the principals.
-- There's one big problem for any actor playing a teenage vampire - teenagers age quickly, vampires do not.
With post-production in full-swing on Summit Entertainment's big screen adaptation of "Twilight", Stephenie Meyer's first novel in the series, talk already has turned to the sequels according to MTV News.
Most interesting is that those involved are talking of adapting the next two books 'New Moon' and 'Eclipse' back-to-back ala "The Matrix" trilogy with the main purpose being to film the actors before growth spurts change their features too much.
Director Catherine Hardwicke says "Our vampires can't age...if they were like 45, people would say 'What's up?. [Filming them together] could be the case. Then, you just get it done."
Producer Greg Mooradian adds "It's been discussed. I can't tell you we're at that place yet, but it's definitely been discussed. [We like the idea of] shooting them back to back, and shooting them simultaneously as they did with 'Lord of the Rings'. From a production standpoint, it's a great thing to do. But it's quite an undertaking."
Any other reasons for doing it? "The goal is to keep it moving quickly. [That will] give the audience a sense of knowing that the next installment is going to come at a really specific increment of time. We're going to go as fast as humanly possible, especially since there are at least four stories to tell. We'd like to keep a real consistency as to how quickly we are able to do it."
Stephenie Meyer added that she supports the idea of shooting the sequels simultaneously. Those involved have signed on for three films and if the go-ahead is given it's said that production on them could start very soon.
-- Christina Ricci, Anjelica Huston, Josh Lucas and Justin Bartha have joined the drama "Long Time Gone" for Jaret Entertainment & Rainstorm Entertainment says The Hollywood Reporter..
Based on April Stevens' 1994 debut novel "Angel Angel," Ricci will play a mysterious woman who enters the life of a dysfunctional family and turns it upside down, one member at a time.
Karen McCullah Lutz wrote the screenplay, and Adam Davidson is directing.
-- A sequel is in the works to 1991's "Point Break" for RGM Entertainment and Essential Entertainment according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Kathryn Bigelow's original flick remains one of the more re-watchable action films of the early 90's with Keanu Reeves playing FBI agent Johnny Utah who goes undercover investigating the Ex-Presients - Californian bank robbers who are surfers aiming to ride the ultimate high. The film famously ends with the leader Bodhi (Patrick Swayze) riding a gigantic wave off the South Australian coast during a 50-year tide and seemingly dying.
According to The IESB, the sequel picks up two decades later where Billy Dalton, military special ops and star surfer, is disqualified from the pro-surfing tour, he takes off for the coast of Bali looking for the perfect wave. While there he's recruited by a private security force who are trying to find a gang known as The Bush Administration, surfing outlaws and modern day pirates who work like "The Ex-Presidents," a bank robbing crew from Malibu twenty years ago.
Jan de Bont ("Speed," Twister") is set to direct and W. Peter Iliff, who wrote the original film, has also penned the sequel which is entitled "Point Break: Indo" presently. Shooting will take place in Singapore and Southeast Asia.
-- "Superbad" star Jonah Hill will executive produce and pen the screenplay for Sony's big screen adaptation of 80's teen series "21 Jump Street" says Entertainment Weekly.
In the series, which ran from 1987-1990 on Fox, Johnny Depp played officer Tom Hanson who was assigned to an elite squad of young undercover cops - Judy Hoffs (Holly Robinson Peete), Doug Penhall (Peter DeLuise) and Harry Truman Ioki (Dustin Nguyen) - to infiltrate high schools and fight crime.
It hasn't been decided whether Hill will star in the movie, but Neal Moritz and series co-creator Stephen J. Cannell will produce.
-- Tommy Lee Jones will adapt, direct, produce and star in a $30 million film adaptation of Ernest Hemingway's posthumously published 1970 novel "Islands in the Stream" says The Hollywood Reporter.
"Islands" centers on the various life stages of a reclusive male painter named Thomas Hudson before, during and after World War II after he moves to the Bahamas.
Like many Hemingway characters, Hudson, who in the tale has a stint working for the U.S. Navy and also endures a series of family tragedies, leads a complicated emotional life that he hides behind a stony exterior.
When he was alive, the author turned a piece of the novel into his famous novella "The Old Man and the Sea".
Jones co-wrote the script with Bill Witliff ("The Perfect Storm"). Morgan Freeman and John Goodman also are in discussions to join the pic.
This marks Jones' second directorial effort after the acclaimed "The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada". Shooting is scheduled to begin next March in Puerto Rico.
-- David Cronenberg (A History of Violence, Eastern Promises) is one of the key contenders to direct a remake of Nacho Vigalondo's "Timecrimes" reports BlogDeCine.
The original Spanish-language film Los Cronocrimenes is a noirish thriller about a man who travels back in time half an hour to prevent a serious crime.
Timothy J. Sexton wrote the script for the new version. Vigalondo also revealed that he would like to see Adam Brody in the lead role.
-- Director Michael Bay has confirmed on his message board that he has cast Aussie soap actress Isabel Lucas (TV's "Home and Away") for the role of "Alice" in the upcoming "Transformers" sequel.
Lucas name was first rumored last week after appearing on an online casting database. As two previous casting rumors were shot down by Bay in the previous fortnight, many wondered if the Lucas casting would turn out to be another bit of speculation.
Turns out the talk was correct and Lucas is in. Meanwhile the film has been added to a list of upcoming 3-D releases for next year in the latest issue of the Dolby newsletter. The problem though is one of availability of 3D screens with "Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs" already locking up a lot of the Digital 3D screens available in the marketplace.

-- Filming on David O. Russell's politically charged romantic comedy "Nailed" has resumed reports the trades.
On Friday the Screen Actors Guild ordered its actors to stop working after producers failed to replenish its deposit with the union to cover the actors' payroll.
SAG requires that productions with a budget below a certain amount must make deposits with the union to pay actors if payroll can't be met. The producers can then draw from that deposit during the course of production, but they must replenish that fund when that happens. On "Nailed", the actors were paid out of the deposit, but the producers apparently didn't add the additional funds to the account.
Capitol Films head of business affairs Ray Reyes now says ""We've reached agreements with SAG and the DGA, and the film is shooting right now." Both SAG and the DGA have also confirmed that they've assured those involved to keep working. The news comes as many ponder the fate of Thinkfilm, the film's distributor, which is apparently on financially shaky ground right now.
Shooting on "Nailed" resumed yesterday in South Carolina .
--The Weinstein Co. will turn the Jim Henson series "Fraggle Rock" into a live-action musical feature reports Variety.
Just like the 80's TV series, the film will be populated by a mix of human characters and Fraggle Rock puppets including the core characters of Gogo, Wembley, Mokey, Boober and Red.
Strong sales figures for the release of the first three seasons on DVD are said to have been a contributing factor into why this film is heading into production.
Cory Edwards ("Hoodwinked") will direct and write the picture which the Jim Henson Co. will produce and the Weinsteins will distribute.
-- Fable Works and Sparx Animation Studios ("Igor") will produce the computer-animated feature "Cereal Heroes" says The Hollywood Reporter.
David Meinstein ("Portal") is writing the screenplay, which revolves around cartoon cereal box-mascots who are mistakenly brought to life when a plan to replace the world's fallen superheroes with characters from comic books goes awry.
They soon find themselves on the run in an unfamiliar world that only they can save from destruction.
Stephen Silver ("Kim Possible") is designing the characters. A film release in 2010 is planned.
-- Whitewater Films and Reactor Films have picked up Amy Morland and Vicki Rocco's romantic comedy script "The Transitional Guy." The story centers on a struggling writer who uses his own dating experiences with recent divorcees as source material for his next book. However, his reputation as the perfect "transitional guy" leads to problems when he falls for one of his subjects.
-- Michelle Borth (TV's "Tell Me You Love Me") has signed on for the indie film "A Good Old Fashioned Orgy" for Endgame Entertainment says The Hollywood Reporter.
The film centers on eight friends, all heading into their 30s and all on the verge of major life changes, who decide to celebrate their last Labor Day together in the Hamptons.
Borth joins a cast that includes Will Forte, Jason Sudeikis and Leslie Bibb. Shooting begins May 19th in North Carolina.
-- Martin Scorsese will direct a major biopic for Universal Pictures about the life of the late Frank Sinatra, according to his youngest daughter and film producer Tina.
According to Jam Showbiz, whilst Sinatra did socialize with crime figures, in this film he'll be shown as innocent of any true involvement with the Mafia or other gangsters.
Tina Sinatra tells Sun Media that Scorsese is in a "reflective period" and is willing to present the truth about her father. That means "dismissing scurrilous rumours that Sinatra was a stooge for the Mafia."
Sinatra also produced the 1992 mini-series about her father and admits it is premature to officially announce Scorsese for the biopic (meaning final signing of contracts probably has yet to happen.
-- Entourage" star Adrian Grenier will produce and co-direct a paparazzi-themed film which examines the relationship between celebrity and society says Variety.
Grenier's Reckless Productions are developing the project and Grenier has already been spotted around Hollywood shooting footage.
Grenier will also produce "Where Are Who Now" which traces the musical odyssey of the Los Angeles band the Good Listeners as they set out to record their third album.
-- Montreal band The Arcade Fire will score Richard Kelly's upcoming sci-fi thriller "The Box".
-- John Singleton is looking at Bruce Willis for the role of Col. John 'Hannibal' Smith for the upcoming big screen version of "The A-Team".
-- Despite recent rumors involving Matthew McConaughey, Brad Pitt's name is now being thrown as possibly playing the titular character in the upcoming movie based on Marvel Comics "Thor".
-- Viggo Mortensen may take over the role made famous by Kevin Costner in "Dances with Wolves" for the upcoming sequel "The Holy Road".

Superhero movie "Iron Man" pounded the competition at North American box offices for the second straight weekend, landing at No. 1 with $50.5 million in ticket sales, according to studio estimates Sunday.
The movie about a comic book hero in a high-tech suit of armor took in $12,284 per theater at 4,111 locations, and saw its total box office rise to $177 million after only about 10 days in theaters.
"Iron Man" blasted by two new entries this weekend, family adventure "Speed Racer" and romantic comedy "What Happens in Vegas," which battled for the No. 2 and No. 3 positions.
"Speed Racer" finished in the second-place spot with $20.2 million in ticket sales to $20 million for No. 3 "Vegas," according to Sunday's estimates. But those figures could change when Monday's final weekend tallies are released.
"Speed Racer" got off to a slow start for the big-budget film's backers at Warner Bros. who had high hopes the movie would prove to be a runaway hit for kids and their parents.
"We were disappointed with the results over the weekend," said Dan Fellman, president of domestic distribution for Warner Bros.
However, Fellman said surveys of audiences leaving theaters showed they had positive reactions to the movie about a race car driver named Speed who must stop wealthy corporations from using profits to fix races. It was made by the directors of the "Matrix," brothers Larry and Andy Wachowski.
"We're hoping, optimistically, that the movie can turn it around and sustain an audience into the summer but only time will tell at this early stage," Fellman said.
While "Speed Racer" managed to claim the No. 2 spot, "Vegas" beat it on the basis of average sales per theater.
"Vegas," which stars Ashton Kutcher and Cameron Diaz as a pair of mismatched lovers who get married after a fling in Las Vegas, pulled in $6,221 per theater in 3,215 theaters compared to $5,605 per venue in 3,606 locations for "Speed."
A spokesman for Twentieth Century Fox, which released "Vegas," called its performance a "great result" that surpassed expectations for what he said was a movie that cost a mere $35 million to make.
By contrast, "Speed Racer" was estimated to have cost $150 million to make and another $100 million to market, according to a recent story in the Los Angeles Times.
Rounding out the top 5 films this weekend were romantic comedy "Made of Honor," starring Patrick Dempsey, in the No. 4 spot with $7.6 million and a two-week total of $26.3 million.
"Made of Honor" was followed by Tina Fey comedy "Baby Mama" with an estimated tally of $5.8 million and a cumulative total of $40.4 million after three weeks in theaters.
"Iron Man" was produced by Marvel Studios and released by Paramount Pictures. "Made of Honor" was distributed by Columbia Pictures, and "Baby Mama" by Universal Pictures.
-- Screen Daily reports tha director Steven Spielberg will finally begin filming his long-anticipated Abraham Lincoln biopic in early 2009.
The "Indiana Jones" director's next project is the first of three CG motion capture movies based on the acclaimed and hugely popular "Tintin" graphic novel series by Herge.
Spielberg tells Germany's Focus magazine that production on "Tintin" won't be delayed by the upcoming actors strike since it's being done using motion capture animation.
It's expected the director will shoot "Tintin" during the early Fall, and whilst that project is in extensive post will begin production on "Lincoln". Both would then be on course for a late 2009 release.
His planned film "The Trials of Chicago 7" has been delayed due to script issues.
-- Platinum Studios, Top Cow Productions and Arclight Films are teaming on a live-action feature adaptation of the comic book series "Witchblade" says Variety.
The story centers on an ornate jewel-encrusted gauntlet that gives extraordinary powers to the wearer, a specially chosen female from each generation.
The show was previously turned into a two season cable TV series for TNT in 2000 starring Yancy Butler and David Chokachi. Shooting on the new film will take place in Australia.
-- Lindsay Lohan is no longer attached to the Matthew Bright-directed independent feature "The Manson Girls" says The BBC.
Lohan was to play the part of Nancy Pitman, a pampered surfer girl who became enthralled with Charlie Manson. The actress was first linked back in March, but an online report indicated that the actress had been dropped from the film due to the fact that no-one wanted to work with her.
Her publicist Leslie Sloane quickly hit back, saying "Unfortunately [the Manson movie] didn't come together quickly enough, and she was offered other roles, which she accepted and is looking forward to doing."
Lohan will next be seen in a multi-episode stint in ABC's "Ugly Betty" where she'll play a mean former classmate of Betty. Lohan also remains signed up for the film comedy "Labour Pains."
Production was slated to commence in early July for five weeks in Los Angeles.
-- DreamWorks has picked up Stacey Harman's romantic comedy spec script "Shared Fare" reports the trades.
The story is based on a true-life experience of Langley Perer - the director of development at production company Benderspink - who split a cab with a stranger and ended up dating the guy for a year.
Frequent Eddie Murphy collaborator Brian Robbins will produce as a potential directing vehicle.
-- Morgan Creek Prods. has picked up the mob thriller script "Gregory Burns" for Universal Pictures to distribute says The Hollywood Reporter.
The story centers on the title character, an Arizona cop who goes undercover to take down a Los Angeles-based Russian crime family.
Rand Ravich ("The Astronaut's Wife," TV's "Life") penned the script which has been a hot property amongst film development executives for several years.
-- David O. Russell's $25 million indie political comedy "Nailed" has been shut down by the Screen Actors Guild according to Deadline Hollywood Daily.
The reason for the shut down on Friday seems to be due to insufficient funds on deposit with the guild, whilst rumors are circulating that South Carolina (where shooting is taking place) could withdraw its incentive monies because of financing problems.
The film, penned by Kristin Gore and Russell, focuses on a naive small town waitress (Jessica Biel) who gets a nail lodged in her head and discovers a new-found sexual drive. When she travels to Washington to fight for better health care for the "bizarrely injured", she meets an unscrupulous U.S. congressman (Jake Gyllenhaal) who attempts to take advantage of her. James Brolin, James Marsden, Catherine Keener, and Tracy Morgan also star.
The shut down comes two weeks after James Caan walked off-set due to a dispute with Russell. He was replaced by Brolin.
Shooting kicked off in April and is about halfway through. The filmmakers hope to resolve the problem and re-start shooting next week.

Hey folks,

If you're not familiar with the Maiden, their website is offering their latest greatest hits album free for three listens via Windows Media audio. The tracks are from a compilation to support their Somewhere Back in Time tour, which is a best of the 80's albums shows. Easily their best stuff, imo, and my favorite albums ever. I'm going to see them in Chicago here in June, and it's my Maiden dream-setlist. Plus it's got a combo of my favorite Eddie incarnations for the artwork. Kick @ss. Check it out. Hopefully I'll have some pics form the Chicago show.

Gore Verbinski ("Pirates of the Caribbean," "The Ring") is attached to direct and produce "Bioshock", a film adaptation of the highly acclaimed best-selling XBOX 360 video game, for Universal Pictures.
Marking the biggest videogame-to-movie deal since 2005 with the aborted "Halo" movie, "Bioshock" publisher Take-Two Interactive gets a several million advance, gross points, and a deal structure to ensure the film gets made according to Variety.
"Bioshock" takes place in an underwater city based on the free market principles of Ayn Rand, but things have gone disastrously wrong. Players control a pilot who crash-lands at a secret entrance to the city, called Rapture, and is drawn into a power struggle during which he discovers that his will is not as free as he'd thought.
Verbinski noted that Rapture's art deco design and visually arresting characters, such as the mechanical Big Daddys who protect genetically mutated girls called Little Sisters, particularly inspired him to see the game as a film.
"The Aviator" & "Sweeney Todd" scribe John Logan is in talks to pen the screenplay. Though no release date is even being targeted, Verbinski said he plans to start pre-production as soon as Logan's script is finished and approved by all involved.
Take-Two is developing a "Bioshock" sequel that will be released in 2009, almost certainly before the film comes out. (Very cool news. His visual style ins such things as the Pirates movies and the American remake of The Ring make him the perfect director for this material. I'm really excited about this news.)
-- One of the best cult films of the past decade has to be Richard Kelly's brilliant debut 2001 feature "Donnie Darko". Despite doing poorly at the box-office, the film scored rave reviews and has quickly become a big hit on DVD.
Now unfortunately, an attempt it being made to cash in on the property with "S. Darko", a $10 million sequel of sorts that follows Donnie's baby sister according to Screen Daily.
Set seven years after the first film, little sister Samantha Darko and her best friend Corey are now eighteen and on a roadtrip to Los Angeles when they are plagued by bizarre visions.
Daviegh Chase will reprise her role as Donnie's younger sister, and will be joined by Justin Chatwin, Ed Westwick and Briana Evigan Chris Fisher ("Nightstalker," "Rampage: The Hillside Strangler Murders"), will direct.
Producers have spoken to Richard Kelly about the project but he is not involved in any official capacity at this stage - neither is any of the original cast such as Drew Barrymore, Jake Gyllenhaal, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Mary McCormack. Fox will handle distribution in the US and production begins filming on May 18th.
-- Samuel L. Jackson is set to star in the Gregor Jordon-directed suspense thriller "Unthinkable" for Senator Entertainment says Reuters.
In the story, penned by Peter Woodward with revisions by Orin Moverman, a major threat is posed to the U.S. when the locations of three nuclear devices are shrouded in secrecy by a single terrorist.
With only two days before they are deployed, a black-ops interrogator (Jackson) and a female FBI agent have to decide how far they will go to find the weapons.
Principal photography is scheduled to begin September 2nd in Michigan.
-- Dennis Quaid and Ben Foster are in final negotiations to star in the sci-fi action film "Pandorum" for Constantin Film and Impact Pictures reports the trades.
"Pandorum" centers on mysterious events aboard an abandoned space craft, with Quaid and Foster as two crewmen who must discover what's happened to them and to the planet they're orbiting.
German helmer Christian Alvart ("Case 39") is directing from a script he wrote with Travis Milloy.
Overture Films will handle domestic distribution, and shooting begins this August in Berlin.
-- Nu Image/Millennium Films has acquired film rights to the long-running "Buck Rogers" franchise and is planning a live-action feature film says Variety.
The character is a former pilot who falls into a coma and awakens in the 25th Century where he battles evil.
Buck Rogers has appeared in books, comics, movies, radio and television since the 1920s, most notably the 1939 Buster Crabbe film and the short-lived 1970's TV series.
Millennium disputed that any creatives had yet aligned to the project, cutting down an IGN Movies report of Frank Miller's involvement.
-- Ron Perlman will play the bad guy in Snoot Entertainment's hybrid martial arts movie "Bunraku" says Reuters.
The film is set in a hyperstylized universe a la "Sin City" and draws from a mixed bag of genres, including puppets, origami, comic books, video games and German expressionism.
It follows a drifter (Josh Hartnett) who teams with a samurai (Gackt) to take on an Eastern European gang lord, played by Perlman. Demi Moore, Woody Harrelson, Kevin McKidd, Jordi Molla and Shun Sugata also star.
Guy Moshe is directing from his own script.
-- huge cast of British actors has been assembled for the thriller "Endgame" which Pete Travis ("Vantage Point") is directing reports the trades.
William Hurt, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Jonny Lee Miller, Mark Strong, Derek Jacobi and Timothy West have all joined the cast.
The story deals with the clandestine and high-risk talks that took place between key Afrikaners of South Africa's white rule government and African National Congress exiles. The discussions brought about the end of apartheid and the release of Nelson Mandela.
BAFTA- and Emmy-winning screenwriter Paula Milne penned the story using Robert Harvey's book "The Fall of Apartheid" as the principal source material.
The film began shooting in the U.K. and South Africa this week.
-- Johnny Knoxville and Parker Posey are attached to star in John Waters' "Fruitcake" for This Is That Prods. and Killer Films says The Hollywood Reporter.
The plot is officially under wraps but is said to center on the title character, a boy named after his favorite dessert.
He runs away from home during the Xmas holidays after he and his parents are caught shoplifting meat, then meets up with a runaway girl raised by two gay men and searching for her birth mother.
ThinkFilm is said to be in talks to come aboard and distribute the project which was once set up at New Line Cinema.

ComedyWorx's own iO trained musical improv team, Hotel Principality, will be sharing the ComedyWorx stage this Saturday, May 10th, at 10:30 pm with the group Really Special People, a team made up of improvisors from the Worx Longform Training Center. You get to see two shows for the price of one. What a deal!!!

Based on one suggestion Hotel P creates a musical from beginning to end right before your very eyes.

Past shows have been about right-wing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, sentient robots, South of the Border workers, cannibalistic husbands, horoscope-obsessed serial killers, square meatball makers, freedom fighting amputees, doomed Astronauts, Americans vacationing in Ireland, mean-spirited teachers, family troubles during Thanksgiving, sadistic ventriloquists, a woman visiting a town made up of only men and space travellers crash landing on an alien planet.

Really, Special People is a new group made up of students from the Worx Training Center and they perform a 30 minute show based off of one suggestion!

-- Matthew McConaughey is rumored to be the front runner for Marvel's early 2011 superhero project "The First Avenger: Captain America" reports Cinema Blend.
The character's real name is Steve Rogers, a sickly young man who was enhanced to the peak of human perfection by an experimental serum in order to aid the United States war effort during the Second World War.
The character remains one of the few of Marvel's most popular characters yet to have been turned into a feature film. In many ways it still faces much difficulty due to the nature of the uber-patriotic character in a modern world which has become more critical of American imperialism than before.
THe solution seems to be repositioning the character and placing the emphasis on his role as the leader of 'The Avengers'. The character will team up with Iron Man, Hulk and Thor in that film opening a few weeks later in July 2011.
-- Rapper Common ("Wanted," "Street Kings," "American Gangster") has signed on to co-star in McG's "Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins" for Warner Bros. and Halcyon Pictures reports Variety.
The story centers on John Connor (Christian Bale) who leads what is left of the human race in a battle against the machines. Common will play a freedom fighter and member of Connor's inner circle.
Common was most recently linked to play The Green Lantern in Warners abandoned "Justice League: Mortal" project.
Sam Worthington, Anton Yelchin and Moon Bloodgood also star in T4 scheduled to open May 22nd.
-- Universal Pictures has picked up Adam Torchia and Justin Stanley's spec script "The Knights Templar" says The Hollywood Reporter.
The Middle Ages-set horror film follows the famed Knightly order who, returning from the Crusades, are forced to fend off an invading vampire army set on destroying the Holy Grail.
"Wanted" and "Night Watch" director Timur Bekmambetov will produce along with Marc Platt.
-- Producer Mark Ronson says he and Amy Winehouse have abandoned plans to record the theme to the latest James Bond film. Ronson said the two started work on the track for the upcoming Bond movie "Quantum of Solace," but the singer is "not ready to record any music" and it would take "some miracle of science" to finish it.
-- Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions Group will distribute Liberty Films' sci-fi thriller "Moon" reports the trades.
The film takes place on a moon base and centers on a man (Sam Rockwell) who mines the precious gas that holds the key to reversing the Earth's energy crisis.
The project marks the directorial debut of Duncan Jones who co-wrote the film with Nathan Parker.
-- Chris Wedge ("Ice Age") has signed on to direct a live-action film based on Brian Selznick's magic-themed children's novel "The Invention of Hugo Cabret" for GK Films, Infinitum Nihil and Warner Bros. Pictures.
According to Variety, John Logan ("Sweeney Todd," The Aviator, Gladiator) will pen the adaptation which centers on an orphaned boy who secretly lives in the walls of a busy Paris train station and looks after the clocks.
He gets caught up in a mystery adventure when he attempts to repair a mechanical man. Shooting is scheduled to begin in the Fall.
