PLEASE NOTE: Improv Misfits is a required prerequisite to enroll in this youth troupe. If you wish for your child to be considered for this troupe without previously enrolling in Improv Misfits, please contact us - exceptions can be made for appropriate skill levels! Funky Funky Disco is recommended for intermediate to advanced shortform performers. In this troupe, kids will learn new ways to harness their creative mind while working together with others to create fun realities that push thinking, creativity, and teamwork. Shortform improv focuses on play and the quick creation of characters and scene elements in the form of games. Funky Funky Disco meets Wednesdays from 5:00pm - 6:30pm for 12 weeks of instruction and rehearsal. Classes run from September 11th to December 18th with certain weeks off. Please see the schedule on the right side of the page for the exact rehearsal dates. Performance opportunities for members of this troupe are typically every third or fourth Thursday of the month from 6:00pm - 7:30pm. This semester's performance dates are September 26th, October 24th, November 21st, and December 19th. Cost for participation in the troupe is $350. $175 is due upon enrollment. An invoice will be emailed for the remaining $175 will be emailed approximately five weeks into the troupe semester and will be due by the end of the sixth week of the troupe semester. Checkout is acknowledgment that the payment requirements as stated above and that failure to pay the second half of the fee will result in the child being removed from the troupe.

Cancellation Policy

ComedyWorx will fully refund any registration for ComedyWorx Conservatory classes when a class is canceled by ComedyWorx or if ComedyWorx makes a change to the dates that prevents a previously registered person from attending. If a person registered for a ComedyWorx Conservatory class requests a refund for reasons other than changes made by ComedyWorx, ComedyWorx will refund the registration amount minus incurred credit card processing fees. In either situation, if the registration is for a recurring ComedyWorx Conservatory class, the person may transfer their registration to a future session without any cost or fees. If a student registered for a ComedyWorx Conservatory class does not attend the first two sessions and does not contact the instructor, ComedyWorx will automatically refund the registration fee minus incurred credit card processing fees. For 50%/50% Payment Plans If a student registered for a ComedyWorx Conservatory class attends the first and/or second class session and then needs to drop the class, the student/parent will receive a pro-rated refund for the initial 50% payment minus incurred credit card processing fees and will not owe the remaining 50% balance. If a student registered for a ComedyWorx Conservatory class requests to drop the class during the third, fourth, or fifth week of class, there will be no refund for any of the initial deposit, but the remaining 50% balance will not be owed. There will be no refunds at all after the fifth week. Partial class attendance "credits" cannot be transferred to a future class session. For Full Payment If a student registered for a ComedyWorx Conservatory class attends the first and/or second class session and then needs to drop the class, the student/parent will receive a pro-rated refund minus incurred credit card processing fees. If a student registered for a ComedyWorx Conservatory class requests to drop the class during the third, fourth, or fifth week of class, ComedyWorx will refund 50% of the total payment. There will be no refunds at all after the fifth week. Partial class attendance "credits" cannot be transferred to a future class session.
