Misfit's Intuition is our introductory shortform performance troupe. Members of Misfit’s Intuition will spend time learning the core values of improv and theater, as well as a broad, foundational portfolio of improv games. Important focus will be given to listening, supporting, and confidence growth. Shortform improv focuses on play and the quick creation of characters and scene elements in the form of games. As the youths become more fluent in the art of shortform improv, they will become eligible for our advanced shortform troupe: Funky Funky Disco. Misfit’s Intuition will meet on Thursdays (except for performance weeks) from 5:00pm - 6:30pm for 9 weeks of instruction and rehearsal. Performance opportunities for members of this troupe will be every fourth Thursday of the month from 6:00pm - 7:30pm when the semester is in session. On these Thursdays, no practice will be held prior to the show. Class start date: Final performance date: Cost for participation in the troupe is $275. $140 is due upon enrollment. An invoice will be emailed for the remaining $135 approximately five weeks into the troupe semester and will be due by the end of the sixth week of the troupe semester. Checkout is acknowledgment that the payment requirements as stated above and that failure to pay the second half of the fee will result in the child being removed from the troupe.

Cancellation Policy

If we have to cancel a class or we make a change to the dates/times that prevents someone who previously registered from attending, we will fully refund your payment. If you register for a class and then request a refund before the start of the class, we'll refund your payment minus the credit card fees we incur. You can also transfer the registration to a different class with no fees. Requests for refunds after the first or second class will get a pro-rated refund of the deposit, minus any credit card fees we incur, and you won't owe the remaining balance. Requests for refunds after the third, fourth, or fifth classes will not get a refund of the deposit, but you won't owe the remaining balance. We do not offer refunds after the sixth class.
