KnievelKnievel delivers surreal, silly, and fearless improv in Wilmington, NC as a part of the DareDevil Improv Comedy community! Blending styles and perspectives from both coasts (if you count Lake Michigan as a coast). They create an absurdistly grounded longform improvisation that is fearless, fresh, and always funny. | Ladies of the UnknownHailing from different areas of the US improv scenes (North Carolina, San Francisco, and Boston), this all ladies team of veteran performers instantly brew improvised scenes, characters, and absurdity from deep within their witchy cauldrons. | Man Candy3 friends with over a decade of improv experience who have been performing together for 3 years now. Their form is a blend of the Living Room and Asscat forms, with personal stories from their members about the suggestion transforming into longer developing scenes. Mmm HmmMmm Hmm is a gay improv duo that explores the microcosm of the human experience. Their form explores rich character development and the accompanying relationships then revisits them two thirds of the way through the show. They've been performing together since 2016! | Mom's AdhesiveThis diverse team of actors and comedians will make you laugh, cry, and wonder why you wanted to see them! Mom’s Adhesive has performed at Charlotte Comedy Theater, North Carolina Comedy Festival, The Queen City Comedy Experience, The New South Comedy Festival, the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center, and more. They specialize in narrative improv and storytelling all made up on the spot by an audience suggestion. | Mom's New BoyfriendMom’s New Boyfriend is no stranger to house fly/human love triangles. Or disappointed parents. Or house fly/human love triangles involving disappointed parents. This team from Greenville, SC, performs a loose slacker format and quickly builds out a whole world, one memorable character at a time. |
Newt Work ComedyNewt Work Comedy is an AWARD WINNING Comedy Collective from Raleigh, NC. They have been performing together for almost two years, and have been seen all over the East Coast including NYC, DC, Baltimore, and Richmond. Specializing in a style of Narrative Long Form Improv called Free Form, they are able to present a never before seen One Act Play right before your very eyes! Pineapple-Shaped LampsThey are a shadowcast/sketch/improv troupe that have performed anywhere from Texas to Florida to North Carolina for the last 14 years! They are located out of Wilmington NC. They often perform hour long improv shows at conventions throughout the year. These shows are a mix of short form and long form improv scenes and range from family friendly to raunchy. Their name comes from a scene in Rocky Horror Picture Show. | Scolding ChairThey’ve been together since before the concept of time (6-7 years) and are best described as a Tokyo drifting wienermobile. | Stolen IdentityStolen Identity is a long-form improv team from Durham, North Carolina. Composed of performers primarily from the LGBTQ+ community, they have been performing together since October 2022. Their show incorporates elements of documentary, montage, and eventé based on a suggestion from the audience. Stolen Identity participates regularly at Mettlesome’s The Racket and hosts a monthly show of local improv teams at Succotash Southern and Creole Kitchen in Durham. |
