Zombie Gerbils
The Foundation of Shortform Fun

Every great shortform improviser starts as a Zombie Gerbil! This high-octane program is the official entry point for our youth shortform track. Here, players master the essential mechanics of improv: active listening, spontaneous agreement ("Yes, And!"), and the fundamental rules of classic shortform games. Focus is placed on building unshakeable onstage confidence, embracing silliness, and learning how to support teammates in a fun, low-pressure environment.

Next Step: Funky Funky Disco
Zombie Gerbils meets on Thursdays from 5:00pm - 6:30pm for a total of nine weeks of instruction and rehearsal and four performance opportunities. Performance opportunities for members of this troupe will be September 24th, October 22nd, November 19th, and December 17th from 6:00pm - 6:50pm. Please note that these dates are not listed in the troupe-specific practice schedule; they are in addition to scheduled practices. On these Thursdays, no practice will be held prior to the show.
Price: $300 per semester
$150 is due upon enrollment. An invoice will be emailed for the remaining $150 approximately 6 weeks after the first rehearsal.
Funky Funky Disco**
The Advanced Shortform Ensemble
Ages* ~13 - 18
Wednesdays, January 7th - April 22nd

Welcome to the main stage! Funky Funky Disco is our premier, advanced youth shortform troupe, serving as the direct graduation peak from our Zombie Gerbils program. This ensemble takes those foundational game mechanics and elevates them to true performance mastery. Players dive into complex game styles, lightning-fast pacing, advanced crowd interaction, and the polished showmanship required to drive a live comedy show. It is loud, it is rhythmic, and it is the ultimate showcase of fast-witted teamwork.

**Funky Funky Disco is invite-only. If you wish for your child to be considered for this troupe, please contact us! While the vast majority of our troupe members in the shortform track join Funky Funky Disco after graduation from Zombie Gerbils, exceptions can be made for appropriate skill levels!

The Fountain of Youth
Ages* ~10 - 14
Tuesdays, September 1st - December 15th

The Fountain of Youth is recommended for beginner to intermediate longform improvisers. Longform improv focuses on creating in-depth characters and robust scene realities for a more theatrical performance experience. Exploring comedy through the richness of human relationships and interactions, longform improv utilizes different theatrical muscles and skillsets to improve interpersonal skills interpersonal skills, listening, and various relationships.
The Fountain of Youth meets on Tuesdays from 5:00pm - 6:30pm for a total of 12 weeks of instruction and rehearsal and four performance opportunities. Performance opportunities for members of this troupe will be September 24th, October 22nd, November 19th, and December 17th from 7:00pm - 7:50pm. Please note that these dates are not listed in the troupe-specific practice schedule; they are in addition to scheduled practices.

Nuclear Family**

Nuclear Family is our premier youth longform performance troupe. Members are recruited from our Level 1 Longform troupe, The Fountain of Youth. This invite-only group brings rich human realities to the stage – from the eyes of the youth! – and the hilarious quandaries in which people may find themselves.
Nuclear Family meets on Mondays from 5:00pm - 6:30pm for a total of 12 weeks of instruction and rehearsal and four performance opportunities. Performance opportunities for members of this troupe will be September 24th, October 22nd, November 19th, and December 17th from 7:00pm - 7:50pm.
