A one-of-a-kind show that combines storytelling with improv. We invite local celebrities to tell true stories about their lives, careers, families, and so much more. Then our cast takes details from those stories as inspiration for scenes. It’s the perfect combination of truth, heart, and a little mischief.

GUEST MONOLOGIST: Jayne Vecchio

A woman of the world, NJ transplant, lover of all forms of yoga and movement and an up and coming pillar of the Triangle comedy scene, Jayne is thrilled to share her silly life stories on the beloved ComedyWorx stage with Capital City Culture Club. Jayne is a passionate yoga teacher with about 5 years of experience teaching all forms of yoga and meditation. Aside from delivering creative, approachable, and grounding yoga classes to the community, she also has cannonballed into the standup comedy scene. Comedy and improv have always held a special place in her heart, from growing up watching SNL with her family to attending as many comedy shows as she possibly can. She loves how comedy allows you to let go, be silly, and find the laughs through the oddities of everyday life. When she's not teaching yoga or performing standup, you can catch her spoiling her adorable dog Poppy, cooking up some new recipes, book-worming, obsessing on Google flights, overbooking herself, or fangirling at a local grunge concert.
