Capital City Culture Club

A one-of-a-kind show that combines storytelling with improv. We invite local celebrities to tell true stories about their lives, careers, families, and so much more. Then our cast takes details from those stories as inspiration for scenes. It’s the perfect combination of truth, heart, and a little mischief.

GUEST MONOLOGIST: Virginia George

Virginia George is the owner and founder of Crafts & Drafts: The DIY Bar, located in Durham, North Carolina. When she's not working on growing the business, she can be found running, at yoga, or working on one of the 10+ house projects she's started. Throughout her life, Virginia has lived everywhere from Alaska to Boston, but the majority of her family live in Kansas making it her home away from home. Her stories are reflective of her transitive state of upbringing and her resulting addiction to travel and adventure. She and her husband Jim lovingly reside in Durham with their very lazy dog Cooper and their epileptic/diabetic arthritic cat Dublin.
