Then our cast takes details from those stories as inspiration for scenes. It’s the perfect combination of truth, heart, and a little mischief.

Guest Monologist: Joel Baucom

Joel Baucom is a native North Carolinian (currently in Durham) who works in healthcare, supporting families and communities through complex and meaningful moments around loss, legacy, and connection. His experiences have given him a deep appreciation for the humor and humanity that can show up even in the unexpected places. Joel enjoys watching other people compete on reality TV with unwavering emotional investment and spending time with his dog, Loki, who is—by all unbiased measures—simply the best.
